Bari A. Levens, Au.D., CCC-A
Director of Audiology
Dr. Levens joined Augusta ENT in May 2006. She is originally from Spartanburg, South Carolina. She graduated from University of Florida with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders. Dr. Levens went on to Towson University to complete her Doctorate degree in Audiology. She did her externship at Southern Otologic Clinic in Augusta, Georgia. Dr. Levens is a licensed audiologist in the State of Georgia. She is also a certified member of the American Speech, Language, and Hearing Association (ASHA) and a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (AAA), and Georgia Academy of Audiology (GAAA).

Amanda S. Battey, Au.D., CCC-A
Audiologist
Dr. Battey joined Augusta ENT in February 2005. She is originally from Claxton, Georgia. Dr. Battey graduated from University of Georgia with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders and a Master’s degree in Audiology. She went on to complete her Doctorate degree in Audiology at Arizona School of Health Sciences. Dr. Battey has been in practice for 15 years and is currently a licensed audiologist in the State of Georgia. She is also a certified member of the American Speech, Language, and Hearing Association (ASHA) and a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (AAA).

Cheryl S. Messick, M.Ed., CCC-A
Audiologist
Mrs. Messick joined Augusta ENT in January 2005. She is originally from Augusta. Mrs. Messick graduated from University of Georgia with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders. She continued on at UGA to complete a Master’s in Audiology. Mrs. Messick has been in practice for 25 years and is currently a licensed audiologist in the State of Georgia. She is also a certified member of the American Speech, Language, and Hearing Association (ASHA) and a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (AAA).

Monica A. Mejia, Au.D., CCC-A
Audiologist
Dr. Mejia joined Augusta ENT in July 2008. She is a native of Colombia, South America. She graduated from University of South Florida with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. Dr. Mejia then continued on and completed her Doctorate Degree in Audiology in May 2008, also at the University of South Florida. She completed her externship at Bay Pines VA Medical Center in Bay Pines, Fl. Dr. Mejia is a licensed audiologist in the State of Georgia. She is also a certified member of the American Speech, Language, and Hearing Association (ASHA), a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (AAA), and the Georgia Academy of Audiology (GAAA).
